Sharon Newkirk
CoFounder, Pastor, Wife, Mother, Grams
Sharon has a broad range of expertise and knowledge. She has worked in education, social services, and ministry. She has a bachelor’s in education and is working toward ordination and credentialing in addiction counseling. Addiction is a subject close to her heart as she’s begun to write a book about her own journey of addiction and healing. One of her favorite and impactful positions was working as a home coordinator at a non-medical Christ-based rehab center.
Sharon would love to come to your event or church to speak. She’d be willing to share on: identity, how God has changed each person from a sinner to a saint; addiction, sharing her own experience and how God can heal, restore, and renew; forgiveness, it’s bondage and how letting go is freeing yourself not the person or people who harmed you; generation curses; or unhealthy covenants, replacing them healthy ones.
Sharon has been married to her husband, Steve, for just over 40 years. You can request they come to your church or event as a couple. If Steve and Sharon come to your event, you’ll get to hear their stories of being married and raising four children in the midst of relational hardship. As you see their unique personalities, you’ll hear about what they’ve learned about marriage as a covenant, setting and maintaining healthy boundaries, and what doing ministry together is about from a husband and wife.

CJ (Christana) Newkirk
Chris-tan-uh (like Banana, Indiana, and Montana)
CoFounder, Speaker, Writer
Christana (CJ) is the cofounder of Nevertheless Ministries, where she combines a deep love for ministry with a passion for helping others grow in their faith. She has a degree in Youth Ministry and many years of experience working in camp, youth, and women's ministries. As a speaker, Christana enjoys engaging audiences with honest, thoughtful conversations about God’s love and the importance of finding our true identity in Him.

Whether sharing from personal experience or opening Scripture together, Christana challenges listeners to study God’s Word for themselves and pursue a deeper relationship with Christ. She’s especially passionate about camping ministry and encouraging others to see singleness as a meaningful, God-honoring calling—not just a waiting room for marriage. Christana brings authenticity, humor, and heart to every talk, inspiring audiences to live out their faith confidently and purposefully. She doesn't just want you to have an experience in the room with her, but prays that you walk away thinking more about God and his word. She prays you go home and begin to study God's beautiful word for yourself. As you walk in your true identity, she prays that you go from just knowing about God to truly knowing him and seeing him work in your life.

Christana loves speaking because she loves learning and sharing what she's learned. She'll often take her listeners back to the original language of Scripture and ask them to try to place themselves in the culture in which the original author was writing. She wants listeners to understand that the Bible is true and holy. The people inside Scripture are just characters in a story, but real people who lived. Scripture is the history of God and his people. She'll bring her passion for the truth to your event.
