Nevertheless Ministries
Mission and Purpose
Nevertheless Ministries exists to offer affordable discipleship opportunities so woman may walk fully empowered in their journey with Christ.

Core Values
These values shape not just what we teach, but also how we teach it.

Core Value #1
Truth-Seeking
At Nevertheless Ministries, we believe the truth matters. We diligently study God's Word as we persist in teaching THE Truth. We pray that in recognizing Christ as the way, the truth, and the life, we are able to lead others to Him and the truth of His Word. Our personal beliefs have been challenged and changed as we've sought out what God really says.

Core Value #2
Affordability & Accessibility
At Nevertheless Ministries we aim to keep our resources affordable and accessible for everyone. We believe access to sound biblical teaching should be available to all, regardless of status or income. We're simply trusting God to provide what is needed to continue our ministry as we ask Him to help us "break even." Anything we do make goes directly back into the ministry in some way.

Core Value #3
Biblical Literacy
At Nevertheless, we pray our teachings encourage women to study God's Word for themselves. We believe all are capable of faithfully discerning the truth in every season of life. We pray we to be a resource for women as they build confidence in studying and discerning for themselves.
Core Value #4
Faithfulness and Responsibilty
We don't take the gift of teaching God's Word lightly. We understand the responsibility of handling God's Word with accuracy. We strive to handle Scripture carefully, teach with clarity, and model humility in all areas of our ministry.

Core Value #5
Identity
One of the reasons we began NTL ministries was our desire to help women recognize who they are in Christ. We believe transformation flows from who God is and who we are because of him. We yearn to help women break free from bondage, especially that of shame, perfection, and comparison.

Beliefs
A brief outline of our most foundational beliefs.

Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for life, faith, and formation. Scripture is Holy Spirit inspired, trustworthy, coherent, and sufficeint for teaching, correction, and formation. We are committed to careful study of the Word of God as a whole. We encourage women not to merely receive biblical teaching, but to engage in Scripture for themselves with humility, diligence, and confidence.

Nature of God
We believe in one God, who coexists eternally in three distinct persons who are coequal. God has revealed himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Trinity's Role in Salvation
We believe salvation is the unified, coordinated work of the Trinity. Without the work of each person, salvation would be incomplete. In short, the Father initiates, the Son accomplishes, and the Spirit applies. To know God rightly is know Him as Triune. As believers, we must live in ongoing dependence on the Father's grace, the Son's lordship, and the Spirit's transforming presence.
The Person of The Holy Spirit
We affirm that the Holy Spirit is fully God, proceeding from the Father and the Son, and active in the world today. He applies the work of Christ by bringing new life, uniting believers to Christ, and dwelling within them. He illuminates Scripture, convicts of sin, assures believers of their identity in Christ, and empowers believers.

The Person of The Son (Jesus Christ)
We affirm that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He is our Savior and our Lord. Through his life, death, and resurrection, he accomplished redemption, reconciling sinners to God, and inaugurated the new covenant.

The Person of the Father
We affirm that God the Father is the eternal source and sovereign initiator of all things. In love, He purposes redemption, calls a people to Himself, and faithfully keeps covenant promises. The Father sends the Son for our Salvation and adopts those who are in Christ as His children, welcoming them into restored relationship with Himself.

Salvation and New Identity in Christ
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Those who are united with Christ are forgiven, made new, and given a secure identity as children of God. This new identity in Christ shapes the entirety of our existence.

In Christ, we are no longer sinners; we are saints. While our sin habits remain the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in our lives grants us a new nature. We have been made holy and are becoming holy.

Covenant and Redemption
We believe God relates to His people through covenant and that Scripture tells one unified story of redemption. From creation to new creation, God has sought relationship with humanity. We teach the Bible as one cohesive narrative. We long for all to see how God's promises unfold and how they are invited to live faithfully within his covenant purposes.

NTL staff and team also believe and affirm the Apostles' Creed. We are a nondenominational ministry willing to serve at and speak at a variety of churches and venues. If you have questions about other beliefs not found on this page please reach out to us.
Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
Amen.

*catholic = universal. This refers to the entire body of Christian believers across the world at all times. This does not refer to a specific denomination like the Roman Catholic Church. The world comes from the Greek word transliterated as katholikos which means universal or throughout the whole.
