More About Christana
Christana grew up surrounded by boys in Southern Indiana. Three brothers and endless male cousins were her companions as she explored outside. However, often, her mom and dad would find her hidden away by herself, content to be alone. This Tommy-boy, introverted, nature-loving personality has followed her into her adult life. Her degree in youth ministry from Spring Arbor University is put to good use as she works for a ministry that serves disadvantaged youth creating the curriculum for their teen programs. She’s also pursuing ordination as she looks forward to what God has for her future.

Her passion for ministry began as a kid attending camp every summer. There she gained heart-knowledge about Jesus to go with the head-knowledge she had from attending church with her family. She went to camp on scholarships from others who were generous with their money. This along with her struggles of being bullied and battling mental health have shaped her heart to see the unseen. She hopes her ministry of writing and speaking will help those oft overlooked know they are seen and loved by the God who created the universe.

Thus, her prayer for her ministry is that people grow to understand who God really is and his deep love for them. She prays they begin to discover who they are because of whose they are. She recognizes she’ll never change anyone, but maybe she can be a sheep and help them discover the shepherd-and that would be life-changing.

When she isn't working you might find her with her nose in a book, crocheting, writing for her blog, taking a walk in the woods with her camera in tow, or getting quality time in with her friends and family.
